In the
opinion of poet Tess Taylor, when Joe Biden becomes President of the United States, "we are going to have a president who quotes poetry".
Being of Irish descent, perhaps he will regale us from time to time with a limerick.
One particular limerick, written by W.S. Gilbert, comes to mind. I think it would suit Biden's personality quite well.
There was an old man of St. Bees,
Who was stung in the arm by a wasp,
When asked, "Does it hurt?"
He replied, "No, it doesn't,
I'm so glad it wasn't a hornet."
